This October, USAID and partners developed the 2022 U.S. Global Water Strategy – a strategy which repeatedly highlights the importance of climate resilience in the midst of a global water crisis. Additionally, SDI’s featured expert Peter Soyka elaborates upon the need for climate adaptation and resilience in order to prevent billions in corporate losses.

On September 15, The White House released the Action Plan to guide the President’s Emergency Plan for Adaptation and Resilience (PREPARE), a whole-of-government approach that supports people in developing countries in their efforts to adapt to and manage the impacts of climate change by 2030.
